Every row on this page comes from the record Oracl8 keeps on each exchange. An exchange is listed as regulated only when a major-register name is confirmed on the register itself. The steps below apply to all core pages.
- Scan the register. Each exchange is matched to the public regulator register it claims: the FinCEN MSB list, the FCA cryptoasset register, the MiCA CASP register, MAS, NYDFS, and the equivalent national authorities. Only the regulator name is recorded. Oracl8 does not publish a licence number it has not confirmed on the register itself.
- Cross-check the fee schedule. The maker and taker fee is read from the exchange fee page and logged as the standard retail tier, not a promotional rate. The combined round-trip cost is computed from that record.
- Date the entry. Each record carries the date it was last checked. The current pass was verified on 2026-09-16.
- Re-scan on a schedule. Registrations lapse and fees change. The record is re-scanned so a stale entry is corrected rather than trusted.
